Theatrical play in Greek, written by D. Spiropoulos, performed by Paros school teachers theatre group.
A modern parody of the classic Greek pastoral drama written in 1893. This play was a favorite among travelling actor companies of the last century in Greece who put up their plays at squares and kafeneia of small villages on a handmade stage, using basic props and a great deal of improvisation. This old-style feeling is depicted in the modern, comic version of “Golfo” performed by teachers of Paros schools.
