The performance of the award-winning stage director Dimos Avdeliodis, which began last summer as a production of the National Theatre of Northern Greece and attracted thousands of spectators in sold-out performances in Thessaloniki, in archaeological sites and museums, in the Municipal Theatre of Piraeus, in Romania, Cyprus and finally in Vietnam, where it was hailed by the International Diplomatic Corps of 27 embassies in the historical Hanoi Opera House and became a worldwide cultural event highlighting the ancient Greek language into a living language, for the first time in two and a half thousand years.
This year, it has started a tour in June, throughout Greece and abroad, with 60 scheduled performances, with the support and under the auspices of NTNG.
This authentic representation of the most sensational trial in the history of civilization, becomes for the spectator a unique living experience, having the feeling that he lives in the real atmosphere of that trial day, where Socrates and Melitos are incarnated on the scene.
